About Courtney

Courtney MacArthur is a character-driven storyteller and imaginative world-builder who loves writing fiction and has honed her communication skills through years of science museum fundraising work and MBA training.

Her current YA fantasy novel, A FATE UNSEEN, is a mythic, coming-of-age fantasy set on a world within the Orion Nebula, where cosmic magic forces two young apprentices to confront who they truly are and who they must become. Their lives and the fates of their loved ones and their continent itself depend on the choices they’ll make. She writes stories to help readers contemplate identity, purpose, and the dragons in their own lives—and how they can be beaten.

When she’s not writing, she’s photographing nebulae through her telescope and taking her young daughter on adventures.
